Another Give-away!

**UPDATE**
Obviously, Wednesday is Dec 10!!!

As my loyal readers know, I recently gave up some homemade Christmas cards to Rose and she posted about them on her blog. Well, Lysa Terkeust is now hosting a Cool Christmas Giveaway and I am jumping in! There are other give-aways linked to her blog so be sure to jump over and check those out. One of them is giving away the new Barlow Girl Christmas CD!

I am giving away "Home Cooking around the world"... a collection of recipes by David Ricketts. The front page has been signed...I am re-gifting! However, I have a very picky family and we have never tried a one of these recipes. I know it was given in good faith that it would be used and I would like for it to fill just that purpose...hopefully in your home!

I will also add, if you would like, a custom scrapbook page..sz 12x12. This would be customized with your favorite colors. Please leave a comment and tell us one of your favorite Christmas memories. I will share mine below.

Many of you know, it is really tight around here this Christmas but I really desire to be a blessing in spite of the circumstances. The give-away will close on Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Miss PD is headed over a bit later today so I need to close...fast!

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.... like Christmas of 1977 when my sweet big sister bought me a box of chocolate chip cookies!!! Best ever! I love you, SIS!!!

God's girl, Pamela

I love recipes, too! I'm not the greatest cook in the world, so I can use all the help I can get! :)

Thanks for giving this away!

Hmmmmm...one of my favorite Christmas memories...when my girls asked me last year if we could put up the Happy Birthday sign (that we put up for each family member's birthday) for Jesus. I love that they are getting old enough to understand it's about so much more than presents!

Blessings

Please enter me in your contest! Thanks!

My fav memory about Christmas is my dad always going to check if "Santa came" and years later I realized he was turning on the tree, so that it would look magical when we came down stairs. I do it with my kids now.

And be sure and stop by my blog to enter mine. Blessings to you.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I would love to enter your contest.

My greatest Christmas memory is the expectation of the coming Christmas. I just love this time of year. Every part of it.

Like Kim, I need all the help I can get when it comes to cooking, although since I live in Toronto, I may not eligible for your giveaway...that's OK...
as for my favorite memory..it is having our youth group over at Christmas time in Trinidad and just playing the guitar and singing and hanging out outdoors...

My favorite memory of Christmas is putting up the Nativity scene. And reading the scriptures of Jesus' birth.

Thank you!
Have a Merry Christmas,

My favorite Christmas memory is visiting all of my extended family. We don't see each other often so it is a real treat.

I have someone on my list who would treasure the cook book and things are tight here too, maybe I'll win and so will the person on my list.

Oh...a favorite memory. When my children were really little and my youngest was less than 2. She was so cute...every single gift that was opened----she ran over to and with all the drama and excitement she could come up with and said----Oooooooooh My peasant! Oooooooh thank you....My peasant! and hugged every thing.
Even though none of them were hers. We have laughed at the video so many times.
She's just turned 14! I wonder if she'll do it this year. :)

Hi Pamela,

Is your daughter "dead to self"?

If so, I left a comment on her blog.

God laid it on my heart to give her a gift.

Hi Pamela,

I left the gift info and my email on her blog. As soon as she emails me, I will order it and have it shipped.

I can't tell you how much God moved on my heart when I read her comment. I literally wept and couldn't explain why. I just feel that God wants to honor her and I am so thankful to be able to be used by the King. It brings me great joy to do this.

After enjoying my cookbooks for years, I actually have requested one for the first time this year, so another new one would be lots of fun. I love all kinds of personal expression, including the cards, cooking, and other handmade gifts.

My favorite Christmas memories include the magical way in which the presents would all appear under the tree while we were at Christmas Eve service (my parents never told me how they did that); and making Christmas cookies with my mom, especially snickerdoodles (we called them squish cookies) because we mixed the dough by putting our hands in and squishing all the ingredients together.

How sweet you are to offer this giveaway. Count me in.

One of my favorite Christmas memories was just last year as my grandaughters made gifts for Jesus for His birthday.

Thanks for entering my giveaway too. Please let me know if you do a post or anything else to earn some extra entries so I am sure give you the additional entries.

Rich Christmas Blessings to you!
